Home Treatment for Acne
Many people would rather not take a prescription medication when they can take a home remedy. Home treatment for acne may not be as popular as other home remedies, but there are people that do try
this method. People choose to avoid prescription drugs for a variety of reasons. For some, they just do not trust pharmaceutical companies.
For others, it is a matter of the cost of the drugs. Some people are allergic to certain medications, so they prefer a more natural method
of treatment.
Home treatments for acne include essentials oils such as Clove oil, Lavender oil, Bergamot oil, Tea Tree oil, and Rosewood
oil. If you have sensitive skin then these oils should be diluted with grape seed oil. Before you go to bed is the best time to apply this
treatment. When you get up in the morning, wash your skin with a pure soap and clean water.
Another popular home treatment for acne is sunshine. Keep in mind that too much sun is not a good thing. The sun can help kill the
bacteria and it dries the sebum oil that produces the acne. A healthy amount of sun everyday without overexposing yourself is good for the
skin.
Drinking several glasses of water a day helps to detoxify your body and helps cure acne as well. It is another common home
treatment for acne. Another obvious way to create healthy skin is to eat plenty of fresh vegetables and fresh fruit. Stay away from
processed foods and fatty foods. These are not good for the skin.
Applying an oatmeal mask to your face once or twice, a week is another home treatment for acne. The oatmeal should not be too hot when applied to the skin. Let it dry and then wash it off. It
helps to exfoliate the skin and clean the pores as well. This may seem like a silly thing to do but many people swear by it. So, try it before
spending any money on prescription drugs.
